One of my favorite education writers is Ira Socol who is finishing his PhD up at Michigan State. Ira's post always take a critical look at the history of American education and how we arrived at where we are today in terms of practices and pedagogy. Another blogger I enjoy following is Ryan Dunne - a first year Jesuit at Detroit's famed Jesuit high school. I really enjoy Ryan's insights. His ability to capture some of the profound truths of our faith in simple prose has always caught me off guard. And it's always nice to read the work of a fellow high school educator.
